Benjamin

Table Manners

He has started to talk alot, and is learning so many new words. He is also becoming a neat eater, and is starting to not like getting his hands messy while eating. He is eating so well with a fork now, and instead of throwing his food everywhere when he is done eating, he is now starting to hand me his plate while saying "all done." Today, at dinner, he did a great job of eating neatly, and he also had two helpings. It was amazing when he said: "more... more chicken." That was a first for him to specifically ask for something! It sure makes life so much easier when your kid can start communicating more!

IImagination

Benjamin sure does have a little imagination. Sometimes I wonder what is really going on in his little mind.
Since our visit with my parents, Benjamin has become obsessed with trains. He loves them! For christmas, Benjamin is getting my old school "vintage"(since anything that is old is called) fisher price train. The other day, Benjamin had two of his cars lined up, bumper to bumper, and he was pushing them together at the same time in a straight line saying: "choo choo!" I'll be honest, I thought that was really clever for him to create his own train with cars.
Sometimes I will catching him cooking up a storm with pots and pans, but the cutest thing I've seen do is take a building block, and push it around like a car, and say "beep beep! car!"

The Dancer
I am not to sure if this is a bad or good thing, but benjamin is quite the little dancer and singer! He loves music, and is very good at catching the beat of any song, whether is it s a slow ballad, the MoTAB, or pop music. He also really really enjoys the oldies-- sometime I will have to post a video of our little dancer! Whenever there is music some part of his body it keeping the beat. Sometimes its his two little pointer fingers tapping along.

Dominic loves dancing too. We had Dancing with the Stars on the other night and he had so much fun trying to copy them.
